I am just about to go offline in a little while, and will not be back on until Thursday so I hope you don't mind me posting this a little prematurely...
Grace is going over to the Vets at Shelf tomorrow morning, and will be having the operation on her suspensory ligament on Thursday morning. This is her second GA in less than four months (the first when she underwent colic surgery). I have done everything I can to help her, including contacting the anaesthetist who dealt with her at Leahurst who has in turn contacted the surgeon at Hirds.
She is off with her own little suitcase which contains her passport, individually bagged feeds for the time she is there (some of you may remember she comes up in lumps on her body when the feed changes), and an extra rug because she is clipped and they are forecasting a very cold weekend up here!
Please can you all send her lots of good luck and healing vibes on Thursday morning, and me some big hugs because I am already a bit of a gibbering wreck at this end every time I think about it!
Thank you,
Rebecca x
