Tala has vet appointment at 1.30 today. OH was playing with her last night and she slipped as she turned, apparently she yelped and was lame for a few steps then fine. She was sound on her walk but didn't want to do the steps ( which she normally races up), this morning met me at the kitchen door but instead of the usual racing to the back door for her harness she just slowly turned and walked there. Again totally sound, got back this morning and she looked in pain getting up to see me, gets better with movement but is definitely feeling sorry for herself so booked her into the vet to check it's nothing serious. Hoping a few days rest and some painkillers will be all she needs.

Trouble with painkillers is that they obviously mask a problem. Trouble with not giving painkillers, well, obvious. I’d be all for painkillers and very conservative walks after the prescribed rest.
Yep, I've told OH repeatedly he has to watch her if she goes out and she can't play, vet said lead walks in garden for toiletting but she won't poo in the garden so will have to go round the block.
