healing vibes needed quickly PLEASE

My dog floyd has a grade 13 enlarged heart. i took ill on thursday night sooff we went to the vets at 10pm anyway he had a tempreture and heart sounded fine vet therefore though he has an infection. he got antibiotic and steriod injection intra muscluar and oral antibiotics to follow sarting friday am. today he seems to have got worse and has weird tremours and very wobbly in his feet so phoned vet and of to the vets (just back). he is now ery uncomfortable in his abdomin and dyhdrated. he had been kept in and is on iv fluids and getting bllod work done. the vet has said that due to his heart condition his kidneys could be failing. i will not let him suffer if this is the case but i can't imagine life without him as i rescued him when he was 3 month old in november 2000 as his owners where beating him up and he had a broken rib. please please can i have soom of the famous healing vibes

The symptoms you are describing do sound like kidney failure, I agree with your vet. Unfortunately my last dog had identical symptoms. The first time she had her kidneys flushed, and had a new lease of life - briefly - but it was just delaying the inevitable, and the second time she started to have severe tremors I called the vet out and had her pts at home. She was 14. In the end you have to do the kindest thing for the dog, and in a way I wish I had acted sooner but it was my first dog and I had no prior experience of making that judgement call.
