My Poor Horsey is lame
on his back off side leg, around the bulb of the hell, up the back of his fetlock joint, its swollen and has some slight heat in it, although in lame in walk, so lame i didn't dare trot him up, he quite happily lets me pick it up and feel around it
so i've put him on some bute (mainly for his comfort) arnica gel, purple spray for a small cut i found on the front of his fetlock (which didn't hurt because if it did...i'd be dead) and cold hosing it down twice a day.
Also he has to live out, no stables, plus he wouldn't stay in for long unless i sedated him.
Seems like hes bashed the joint/bone and/or twisted his fetlock joint?
going to get vet tomorrow if nothing has improved
although hes generally fine in himself, still spooking away and grazing as normal.
Just some healing vibes to speed up his recovery a tad
thankies.
