wishing my livery amy pony best healing vibes
white blood count 2 weeks ago 34.000

blood test tuesday came back 85.000

going into clinic today to see whats causing it, pony is eating pooing and seems bright and alert.:confused:

vets baffled but very serious could cause organs to shut down
been wormed the usual
 
Really sorry to hear about your friends pony. Sounds scary. I hope they find out whats wrong with it and its in the right place.

well blood test came back no infections no masses on ultrasound. They are testing the lymph nodes and bone marrow today .

Poor owner is planning her cremation in case its bad news. :(:(:(
 
Oh no :( Are they able to offer any sort of treatment or is she not insured? Either way, Im sure they'll do right by her. Good luck to you all. I hope they enjoy her for however long she is here xx

There is NO cure for lymphoma / leukemia.


Her bloods will be taken again next week to see where they are.

Its so rare that only a handful of horses in the uk have ever had it ALL have died :(
