Im looking for healthy puppy treats to use for training. I've got puppy markies but they cant be broken into small pieces for this purpose. Gravy bones are good as broken in half they're pretty small but I dont think they do a puppy version? Can anyone say if these are ok to give to a puppy or if there's other ones which would be better?

I'd just take the dry food out of his daily allowance and put it in your pocket and use that.
Then if you need to bring out the 'big guns' later with something you might have a particular issue with, you can use something like cut up hot dog sausages or cheese. If you start with high value stuff, you make a rod for your own back sometimes.

Train when the dog is hungry, don't feed then train, the dog will work harder for it.

I would not use shop-bought pre bagged stuff unless I was desperate, they're often full of colours and gimmicky rubbish.

Second the "use a part of the normal food" but for a change mix in some dry cat food. This is smaller and often stronger flavoured and you can use more rewards without having a full up pup.

No worries, you can get a special training jacket or just use an old bodywarmer or camera/fishing jacket to throw on and pop your kibble in the pockets and go from there. My dog is two and he still gets his evening meal from my pockets most nights, or off a track. On a track, like S4S says, I'll pop in something random every so often like a piece of Pepperami in a footprint to keep him interested.
