Heard the worst noise :(

Just heard a dog get hit by a car round the corner from my house. Was upstairs and heard somebody shouting outside, barking and then that thud.

Quickly got in the car to look for it offer help but owner was there carrying in into the house.

I know that sound I once long long time ago saw a dog get hit by a bus. I can still remember it's cries. Don't even like to think about it even now.

I heard a child being run over outside work last week, made me feel rather sick

A parents worst nightmare , couldn't imagine how awful that must have been.

Assuming dog must have done a runner/chased something as heard lots of shouting beforehand

I remember walking to school and someone threw a kitten out of a car. It was such a horrid experience, the noise stays with me to this day. Still feel physically sick remembering it. :-(

I will never forget that sound. I was out for a walk with a group of friends one school holiday (YEARS ago!) and a collie ran out into the road and got hit by a lorry.

Awful. I never want to hear such a sound ever again.
