Heart Murmurs

I took my mare to do 34k at an Endurance ride. At the vetting she was discovered to have a Grade 3 diastolic murmur, she had a normal heart rate of 38. She had been working nicely in training including a good steady 10k on Wednesday. She showed no signs of a problem. Has anyone had any experience of these murmurs and working their horse

My sister's previous horse had a heart murmur, it was caused by a leaking valve in one of his ventricles. Tim Brazil came out to do a reading, and his was worst at rest. It improved being kept in work, never caused him any problems.
