Heart ruling head? Advice and Update!

she looks lovely. hope you have many years of fun with her.

p.s so I probably shouldn't mentions that my two collies, the colliexlab pup and the king Charles are all allowed in the bedrooms and on the beds sofas etc.....:/

Yes - and I've seen the picture :biggrin3:
Ours are allowed on the sofas (keep my feet and neck warm) but they know they're not allowed in the beds and I don't really encourage them to come upstairs.

Hero / Hera is a very lucky dog to of found you :smile3:

:D

my big collie saved my mums life when her graves disease first appeared. her heart rate was, when she was in the hospital, 156 resting. during the night when she was allowed home he woke her and my dad up when her heart started racing again and we could get her the help she needed.
they also wake my sister up from her really bad nightmares and sit with her while she calms down.
so I have never minded them being up stairs in that respect.

to be fair they have their beds by our beds they don't spend all night on ours.....exept for the 14 year old king Charles but she is old and tiny :D

Poppy looked pleased with her self going back to school.

I'd sleep in their basket and let them have the bed in that case :biggrin3:

Bet the King Charles farts a lot !

Poppy liked going back but has the attention span of a gnat.....

Lovely story OP :)

I am not a dog expert by any means but one of the most useful things we have for our Pip (now 16 months) is a stair gate across the kitchen doorway. It means we can leave her there if we go out, so she has more space but cant destroy the house (not that she does these days anyway, touch wood!) and also when we get in from walks with disgusting feet they dont get tracked over the whole house.

Have to say though, she does sleep in my bed - my decision not hers!! Good luck with Hero, she is lovely :)
