I think the lumps he has are heat related, he has quite a few on the underside of his neck, shoulders.They appear as raised areas of fur and then a small scab appears, TBH they look a right mess.They don't seem to bother him and probably more prominent at the end of the day.
I have started to leave him naked in the stable at night, although I do rug him up in the day time , I am just going to turn him out today in a summer sheet, the covering up is more for my convienence if I'm being honest- he's a mud magnet!.
I am going to wash the areas with diluted hibiscrub to see if that makes any difference, but just wondering if you have any other ideas on what to do, or if your horse has these?.
When I next get the vet up I will get him to check these out, but they do come and go so I'm not unduly worried.
