My lurcher Rew does agility. Rew is a pita because he feels the weather is generally too hot, too cold, too wet, too windy… you get the gist.

Last year we had a couple of agility events where the sun came out after rain, the grass was fairly long, and the temperature shot up. Rew is dark grey and short coated and he feels changes in temperature immediately, and so I would like to get a heat reflective coat for him, but not one of the soak ones as he would be horrified and instantly cold if I put a wet coat on him. At an event I can manage the situation as best as possible before the run, but if queueing in full sun he just goes flat and too hot, although he doesn’t pant.

Any recommends?

And picture, just because!
