Heating question (feed).

Just a quick question. How long, after starting a new feed would you start to see if the said feed was having heating effects on the horse?
Someone on the yard said 3 weeks, but I thought it would be a lot earlier?

Not sure precisely,but I'd expect some kind of change within about 10 days maybe? If you're still waiting 3 weeks later I'd say you'd be waiting forever!

Took me 3-4 weeks before rock started going mad on his new feed

I built Ruby's cool mix up and by the fourth day of doing this 3 hours of work wasn't even denting her energy levels, we didn't even get out of silly before work mode, She is a tb though. So I think it depends entirely on the horse.
