HI, need to get my lads heavy weigth turnout and stable, for the stable am going to go with bucas as have seen them at badminton ect and love them and they wil fit mine perfect, just wondering what to do about turnouts, was going to go with bucas but a. expenisve b. mine are tough on rugs.

Was thinking the amigo 1200D heavy or MT heavy combo, any advice welcome (for 2 big shoulders TB and ISH- fit important)

Thanks x

I have a heavyweight combo from Aerborn - absolutley love it! Seems pretty indestructable too.
Also a bit heavy on the pocket but love my rambo supreme too.

I have just bought a Premier Equine Stormbuster (I think thats the one) with integrated neck. He looks so cosy in it! Only put it on the first time last night, so can't comment on anything else, but it looks and feels great :)

At the cheaper end too, next day free delivery on orders over £100 :)

Ditto this!

Horseware rugs are fantastic quality. I'd recommend the Amigo 1200D Plus Heavy Turnout. 1200D outer is really tough and the rug comes with a detacable neck so you have the option of extra warmth when required. You can get one from www.trot2.com for £105 with free delivery. Items normally get delivered the day after you order too.

I love Mark Todd rugs and recently bought two Mark Todd Heavyweight combo rugs. They are really generous with sizing and nice and deep. They have a nice gusset between the main part of the rug and the neck cover. This stops the withers being rubbed when the horse bends to graze. The neck cover reaches right to the tips of the ears.

I searched really hard to get them at a good price. Most places charge a minimum of £117 and some as much as £135. But I got them for £95 each from Old Dairy Saddlery, near Wootton Bassett. I was able to fetch them but you can order online or by phone.

Hope this helps

Just to clarify, they are Mark Todd Combo Deluxe. And they have a very hard wearing exterior. There is a cheaper one with a 600 denier outer but exactly the same otherwise.
