Heavyweight stable rug for deep-bodied horses! Help!!

I am after a 300-360g standard neck stable rug for Spring. She is a very deep-bodied ID type and most rugs end up like a mini skirt on her!! I don't want to spend more than £50, but not bothered about brand really, although I quite like Weatherbeetas.

Weatherbeeta Fusion is a nice rug for deep chests.
Depends what size you need, these come in a little on the large side.

Thanks, she takes a 6'9. Have you bought anything from Conchie Saddlery? I have used equestrian clearance and have been extremely happy with their service.

Yes Conchies is local to me so buy from them all the time. The service in the shop is great but have never ordered anything over the internet but if it's like any other arm of their business it'll be very professional.

have a look at premier equine rugs, they get a lot of votes on here, someone at my yard has lots and they look like very nice rugs and very deep

I have Jack in Premier Equine and Amigo rugs, both come up deep enough for his ID frame....mind you he is now in 7 footers!

I have a GFS stable rug, lovely rug and nice and deep for my nice deep huge cob!! Very good quality too.

Another vote for premier equine. I have a 17hh warmblood who is very deep and my new stable buster fits really well. they have a fab finish too.
I also have a GFS rug. Its pretty deep too.

My ID mare is deep bodied and broad chested and I either go for Mark Todd or Jumpers horseline (old dairy saddlery) own make. I haven't got a problem with Premier rugs but they don't fit my girl very well.

My 16.3 WB is very deep bodied and wide chested with big shoulders. I find that only FAL rugs or their diffusion line (Slumberdown) fit, highly recommend them. You can usually get a good deal on Ebay.

I've got my chunky IDxTB in a Masta Regal, which fits him nicely and doesn't look like a hospital gown on him!!! It cost about £50, I think. The John Whittaker stable rugs are nice too - my friend's got her chunky monkey in one of those.

I have a Weatherbeata Belmont and it practically comes down to Star's knees! She is a 7/8 TB ISH with a fairly big chest and deep girth.

Premiere Equine. They fit my boy very, very well, and are generously cut and deep.

I have found that other rugs are just like mini skirts on him.
