Any suggestions on heavy weight turnout - with detachable warm hood. Looked at WB Orican heavy weight not sure how warm it is? Can't really afford the luxury ones £90 max if possible

Elle horse hoofware do a really heavy ripstop silver turnout for a bargain price. They come up a bit generous size wise but we used them last year and they survived the winter.
The neck is detachable and they really are incredibly warm and good value for the price, I would say they are a good copy of rugs three times the price.

My boy wore the Oricon (with the combined, not detachable hood) last year and he was fully clipped out. Was never cold so was certainly warm enough for him. He's not thin skinned though.

Just looked them up and they've got them in the sale too at the moment so even more money off- £50, bargain!
