Anybody know where I could get hold of a Heavyweight combo under rug? Cheaper the better, but it needs to be wuite heavywght. Saw a 400 grm fill one on Ebay a while ago, but didn't take the number down! >:( thanks! =)

Oh yes that's the one! What do you think? I do have other under rugs, but no full necked ones, and was thinking of giving Bramble (out 24/7) a blanket clip, would this keep him toasty enough, or have I got money-burning-in-my-pocket syndrome?!? haha! Thanks for finding it though =)

We've had other rugs from the same guys and they were fine - seem good value for money

I have just bought a Weatherbeeta Belmont combo for our big boy to just as an under rug. It's nylon lined and has no neck seam which is good for him as he has high withers. The outside of the rug is not very substantial and so I think it's better suited as an under rug. Be careful though, they come up quite large.

you could try a weatherbeeta under rug, its a combo design, probably only med weight but is great under my stable rug, keeps my boy toastie and warm and he is clipped right out.

I think under rugs are worth getting, I asked a friend whether I should get one and she said not to bother, I bought it anyway and he was out in it yesterday under his light turnout, he was dry and warm despite galloping through water all day with the others and it means I'll get more use out of the lighter weight turnouts. I also think they are good to have so that you don't need more than one heavy turnout as you can just pop them under a light one if the heavy is still drying out.
