Does anyone keep a horse in Hebden Bridge? I am thinking of moving mine here as some family live here so would be helpful when I go back and forth to Uni etc. Does anyone know any good livery yards or schools to hire/XC?

Also was wondering what hacking is like? Thanks

Don't live there anymore, but if memory serves me right you need a special pony with two legs short and two legs long to cope with the hills

I think that Pennine riding club is in that area, so if you found their website and contacted them you'd probably find somewhere...

Pennie riding club is a good place or you could contact Christine Farnaby of longfield riding school in walsden, hacking brilliant or it was when i was a kid. Christine will know everyone in the area, she used to ride Longfield Cath the champion Dartmoor from Longfield stud.
I'm just proving that I am really too old to be on forums.
