No comment on awful riding and position!! I did actually have my eyes shut....lol! Not my horse so no comment there either....he's an absolute saint bless him!

I'm 7th one down to start with, then on a different horse about just under halfway down the list on the 2nd lot of hedge photos - there's 2 of me jumping with a hogged chestnut cobby to my right....just after a grey :) IMS_3698 for reference.
And a final one 8th from the bottom I think.

Arrrrgh I have the urge to jump now. Was just getting over the whole 'jumping hedges phobia' thing I have/had....and now I'm moving so no hunting for the near future lol sadly :( But very very grateful for having the chance to be able to on two complete saints of horses!
 
WOW I wish I was that brave. :) Lovely photos. I havn't jumped a hedge since Lucy and I used to drag hunt about 10 years ago. (Some of the hedges where bigger than she was I just used to shut my eyes and hold on :p :D :D )

Beaufort :) I'd not jumped a hedge since pony club camp lol....Have had a pathological fear of them [which was then backed up and amplified when I got fully bolted with out hacking once about a year after our PC camp incident...over 2 hedges which were in our path too. Never had experienced true bolting till or since that day!!!]

But had the chance to, was my aim for this season....so gave it a go whilst I had the chance!!!

I'm rather jealous! I only have one hedge jumping photo so far this season!

Some seriously good photos there of some brave horses and riders! I would love a good horse to go hunting on again but not sure I would be tackling country like that!! We are softies in this neck of the woods, flat ground and plough!
 
Thankyou! lol I have to admit....I do love it haha!! Any other fence I'm fine with,give me walls, timber, etc.....but hedges. *shudder* Though I am getting there with them. Funny....I love flying down steeplechase fences on XC etc though with no worries.....ironic lol!

Look at the more recent ones from them from opening meet etc on the photo gallery....now they are getting to some serious hedges!!!!!! Puts my little ones to shame haha!!!

I love the second to last bay, I think he must think he is on the grand national lol. There is another photo there where the horse and rider have the same facial expression of oh s*&t :D

Looks like good fun and not for the faint hearted. Well done!!
 
Thankyou! :D I couldn't do some of the bigger ones I don't think....I walked up to a few of them the other week when we were stood around....they were a good 2ft higher than my horses head!!!
