Brought buzz in just over 2 weeks ago was sound in field then went lame as walking to stable, road is a bit stoney hosed legs no signs of cuts etc so assumed he'd stood on a stone left him in over night completely sound following day.... Fast forward to Saturday just gone had walked out sound in morning then was almost hopping lame bringing him back in front leg swollen again hosed no obvious signs left in over night following day abcess had burst in centre of his heel poultices with animalintex bandaged etc am now just using poultice paste no bandage etc as his foot looked to wet. He is now completely sound no swelling no discharge but has a hole in his heel how long should I keep applying paste (doing this to stop dung etc getting into hole) how long does it normally take to close over? Thanks to anyone who managed all the way through
