heel mites

I know this is a common problem in the hairy cob world but ive been told to use frontline flea spray on my two mares who have heel mites has anyone used it and did it work ok with no side effects one of of my mares is due to foal in 9 weeks time so i wont do her just in case .

My friend was using it on her irish cob after trying loads of useless expensive products. He had feathers to die for and it worked a treat on him! (Unfortunately they have now been clipped) He hasnt had any problems since my friend used this on him.

I use frontline spray and have done for years, never had a problem with it. Its the only effective thing i have found.

Frontline didn't work on my boy as I just couldn't rub it in deep enough and my opinionated, rescue mare decided I was trying to kill her! So I had the vet out to give them both the injection that they have 10 days apart (to interrupt the life cycle) and {touches wood} they've both been fine since.
