Hey everyone just wondering your opinions on this little guy who’ll be coming home with me soon. He’s coming up 3 near year currently around 13-14hh. Any guesstimates on his final height? Also what do you thinking breeding wise, I’ve been told his mum is a Welsh sec D but she’s quite small around 14hh maybe, no idea on dad!

I don’t mind what height he makes or what his breeding is as he’ll just be a leisure pony but just curious ☺️

Looks like a D crossed with a heavier set cob, or you've just got yourself an old fashioned stamp - either way he'll be lovely. I like him!

No one can give you a guesstimate on final height without knowing his height now! If hes 13hands maybe 13.2hh, if hes 14hands maybe 14.2hh. I've had one that age and stamp not really grow at all from 3 though, and others have shot up. I dont think hes got much growing left to do though

Haha yeah he’s literally been born in a field and never been touched so can’t get quite close enough to fully judge what he’s at now, total guesstimate! Mission is on to get a headcollar on him haha

He could easily keep growing until he's 7 - my friend similarly build cob grew 1" between the ages of 6 and 7.

Looks like he has the makings of a nice riding horse. Good look with operation headcollar!
