HEIGHT CONVERTER HELP NEEDED!!

Last night we measured Kouv our foal who is only 7 and a half weeks, not to sure if we've done it correct.
We measured from ground to withers in cm (118cm) if we have worked this out correct we've measured him at 12.2.
Have we worked this out correctly? Any ideas on what he may make when fully grown?

I would have made it as 12.3hh. Not sure if that is correct but I did

1cm=0.0984251969 hands
0.0984251969 x 118cm =11.6141732
11.6=12.3

Height of foal at birth +the length of its cannonbone =height at maturity.At least that is what I was taught.The size of parents should also give an indication.

Thank you for your replies looked at converter and it say he is 11 2 !!
