Height Question?

my mare is at the MOST 15.2 although she was never really formerly measured, stud said she was 15.3 but then other 15.3s on the yard are bigger so i'm just wild guessing.
ANYHOW. her mother was 15.1, a british bred warmblood x tb
but her father was 17h.
i dont understand why she never made the 16h mark?
will her foals have the possibility of making the 16.2 mark if crossed with a 16.2 stallion or higher?

its a strange thing height i have a 15hh mare who has a sire of 16.3 and a dam of 16.1.

there is a good chance your mare will breed bigger, if put to a larger stallion

In a word yes!! But with genetics there's no guarantee!! My mare is 15.2, mum was about the same, dad about 16.1/2, grandsire 16.3, put to a 16.1 stallion with a 17hh sire, foal is 15.3 at 2, and set to make 16.2-16.3!!
