Can anyone let me know the heights at BN and Disco - first round and jump off. I've had a look in the BSJA rulebook but they only have grade C as a whole. I know BN starts around 3ft ish....
This Sunday at Weston Lawns it is their unaffiliated championship show, you can jump the consolation and clear round classes, if you and your horse are BSJA registered think you have to jump the 3' or 3'3" classes.
Bank Holiday weekend they have are jumping on the Thursday right through until the Monday, aiming to go on the Sunday and the Monday. They do tend to build up to height at Weston Lawns especially on the courses on the big new ring. That said they do have a couple of unaffiliated classes starting at 70cm.
Agree with MrsT. Depending on the show, the Bank Holiday one will possibly be more up to height than normal. They have lots of bright fillers at WL so that makes everything look slightly bigger than a show centre that uses mainly poles. There is plenty of room to get round so you should be fine!
Echo others, addington always build big because of the shear number of ppl entering.
I did the disco and after the 2nd fence the fences grew to 1.10 and was a good 1.20 jump off.

Neither did i, it was a bit of a shock. Even YO whos son jumps internationally thought it was HUGE! lol and said - you sure you dont want to go in the BN first. This from someone who said *dont go in the BN its too small for him*
TBF at Bicester show last year, the BN was small so decided i wouldnt bother again lol How wrong was I lol
That has made me feel much better, only affiliated him a couple of weeks ago and been to Addington twice. On Saturday we were so unlucky to have the last down in the Disco, would have been 5th otherwise.
