I have sold my Ifor 510 and the height inside is 7ft 4". I have seen a wagon that I really like and it is 7ft2". Is this be ok for a 16.2hh? Is this a standard height? My horse is a good traveller..
My old 'pony' lorry was 7ft high.
The lorry I have for sale is just under 8ft high in the horse area.
My new lorry currently in build is 7ft 8 high.
I'm not sure if this helps.
I could be wrong but Im sure the 510 is 7'6 high. I think a good traveller would be ok just with 7'2 but to be honest I would go for higher if only for resale value. A 505 is 7' ish to give a comparison. My horse is 16.1, 16.2 and I want a lorry thats 7'10 or 8'. My horse is fine in wagons but doesnt look small in my friends wagon which is 8' high.
I know someone who bought a new conversion horse box because it was high. However, it was too high for the body and very unstable when driven. No expert but would think 7'2" would be suitbale for 16/2hh.
