So I recently measured Faith, she's 14.2hh and her bum was (what looked like to me) sky high. I just wanted peoples opinions on what height she will grow to, as this always niggles my mind.

She's a Appy/Knab/Cob, her mother is 15.3hh Appaloosa, her father is a Knabstrupper x cob standing at 16hh, also what are in your experiences the growth spurts in certain time limits eg 1inch in 4 months.

Also loving my HW cob Harvey, he's turned out to be the opposite of what his previous owner told me, however he's still bombproof and can be abit of a grump at times, he's turned out to be very playful and very loving, both of which I was told he wasnt, I like the fact he's a playful 12yr old.

Anyway, Faiths winter woolies have come through, she's very fuzzy, but Harvey's havent even bothered yet, I keep thinking rug them up, but I want to leave them as long as possible (I'm trying not to mother them) and I keep thinking maybe today they have come through, only to find he hasnt changed.

Experiences/advice welcome!!!

depends how old she is at the moment? there is no definite way of knowing how big she will grow to but you could assume she will grow between the two parents. however it also depends on the grandam and grand sire and further back than that. you could end up with a 16.2 or a 15.2 or even 17hh!!!! although i doubt it it is sometimes possible. i would say to expect her to grow to about 16.1hh poss 16.2 if she is over 14.2 already
