Does anyone own a pair and manages to do a full clip with them?
Im looking for a clipper/trimmer with snap on blades so that i can do everything with one pair.

Any recommendations please?

As a dog groomer I have a set which are great with dog coats - I think it would struggle to complete a full horse clip as the hair is so much coarser

I've got the Liveryman Harmony Plus which are a snap on blade and they do a full clip on a 17.2 happily 😊

I've done a couple of full clips of my cob with them. They are brilliant. Probably wouldn't be the best for a super thick coat but early in the year or second/third clip they are ace 😀

I am a YO and have them, we use them for horses that are noise sensitive and have done a full clip with them. Generally, we would just use them for heads and use larger clippers for the body to speed things up but if you aren't clipping multiple horses and they don't have very thick coats you would be ok. You can also now get wide blades which increase the clipping area so are worthwhile investing in. As far as small clippers go I have found them to be the best and the charger that charges two batteries at once is really useful.

I use them for full clips, would probably be a bit quicker/easier with wide blades but the standard ones do just fine :)

As some others have said, they might not be as suitable for particularly coarse hair.

I've used them to do trace clips but found they struggled with the denser areas over the quarters, so reverted to bigger clippers for full clips. And this was on TBs, so not very coarse coated.

What blades do you use on them? I need around a 2.4mm wide but the only ones i can find are Liveryman blades

They do a full clip on my cob easily, though the finish is better if you get wide blades - I buy Liveryman ones as they're significantly cheaper than the Heiniger ones.
