I need an air jacket for this season and I have heard that the Helite air jacket is better (and better value for money) than the Point-two air jacket, but I have also heard vice-versa! What is everyone else's opinion because I am now unsure which one to buy?!
Thanks x

The point 2 cannister has an additional plastic collar on it which is an additional point of failure and is a bayonet quarter turn fitting which cannot be as secure as the helite screw fitting if jiggled about while in use. I would buy helite or hit air.

I just got a point 2 for my birthday last week. Its light and comfy. Dont even know your wearing it. Ive never seen the other two to compare. Sorry nit much help

Point 2s are probably the better known and more widely used. They've just launched a soft shell version which looks really nice.

Point 2 & Helite WERE the same company. Helite made the air jackets & Point 2 distributed them under the Point 2 company name.
Point 2 can now manufacture their own air jackets so they no longer use Helite.
Helite are now selling their own jackets.
Hit Air are another different company.
All these air jackets are based on motorcycle air jackets.

Thanks a lot everyone, we did some research and apparently the Helite cannisters have a higher chance of working than the Point-two so we went for Helite. Thanks! :)
