Hope everyone's been ok - started my new job, turned 30 and moved yards so had my hands full and not much time on line anymore.

Poor boy had a bit of a horrific accident and ran into a gate at full speed on Thursday while galavanted around with the big boys

ripped his shoulder right open and had to have muscle stitched - on 2 weeks box rest but vet pleased with his progress. Apparently he was pretty close to going to Liphook but the injury seems to have just missed the joint. Keep thanking the fact that I didn't put him on a yard with barbed wire - he had a score mark right down his right side - I don't think he'd be here now if there was anything sharp for him to run into.

Makes me realise that he's always going to be a liability being blind in one eye bless him.....even more reason why he'll always stay with me.....

Have to say that even though it's been pretty traumatic, I have to praise my yard owner - she's been amazing and made sure that he's had everything he needed while he's on the mend....

So bit of a mixture of good fortune and bad but hopefully that's behind us now.....(the bad fortune that is!)

Hope Ty makes a speedy recovery. Only 30 - a mere babe in arms lol!

My big news is that I am getting a Highland pony tomorrow. I am Clementine (was previously Capondeville) by the way but new pony is called Finella of Glendoll, hence the new name.

Hope your new job is going well.
 
Hope Ty recovers well and quickly! I noticed you havent posted on the forum recently. The betty skelton show went well, shame you couldnt be there.

Good luck for the new job, ive just started mine aswell xx
