Hi All,

i have been lurking on here for YEARS!! not really ever posted anything note worthy...well this may not be not worthy either hahaha

So last month i put my brave pants on and took my 6 years home produced and backed cob cross to the Jays for our first attempt at BS. We only did the clear round, mainly as I did not have enough money on me HAHA

So bearing in mind my horse who is 6 had not done a lot. We have mainly done working hunters, ridden show and riding club. She has not been to a show since she went to the Sunshine tour Champs at Hickstead. She was soo good we jumped around the clear round twice, 1st time clear and then 2nd time we have 4 faults she was WAY to keen hahaha

Anyhoo I just loved it so now need to find more Showjumping shows to take her too :) here is a little (grainy pic) from the video of her at the Jays, and a photo from the shine tour champs where she rocked it and was reserve champion. she is only 15.1 and is a darley foster foal she is just the coolest little pony ever :) :)MILLSTHEJAYS.jpgamelia3.jpg

You’ve done brilliantly with her ! What’s a darley foster?
A darley foster foal is where they breed a mare then when the mare is needed as a foster mother ( to one of their racehorse babies) they hand rear the foal. the mares are normally full cobs and the daddys are racehorses or teaser stallions. Amelia is a hand reared foal by Darley stud, she is out of a 14hh cob (full feathers the lot and a 17hh racehorse called Adair) she is now 6 years old and is a proper nosey parker about life :) she was the best buy I have ever had :)
