Hello and meet my old loan boy

I every one, I'm fairly new on here, so thought I'd do a general introduce and get to know. In other words.. post a couple of pictures of the horse I have on loan (currently looking to get one of my own - but hopefully carry on riding Jim a couple of days a week).

What do you think of him? I know he has what you might tactfully call 'a good length of rein' and a multitude of other sins but he is the kindest, most genuine horse you could ever hope to meet! And not too bad for an old boy.

Oh he looks gorgeous! Love the slightly roman nose and he is a lovely chunky but elegant looking boy. How old is he?

I've not seen his passport but was told he was 18 when I started riding him last year, since spoken to people at the yard who laughed and said that he's been 18 for several years (slight case of 2nd anniversary of my 28th birthday I think). So we will say a generous 20

I love his head. I think it is the only really Irish Draft thing about him (he is supposedly ID x TB)

By finding a non-pooey bit of grass and lying in it! He was too busy stuffing his gob to care (he'd been away from the field for a whole 3 hours, shock horror) - the others in the field were more bemused!
