Hello...Anyone here from Leicestershire?

We are on the Northants/Leics border and I'd be really interested in the LOROS rides. Have got a trailer so could meet up for rides out, and have room in the trailer for one other horse too as long as a good traveller and not one who would be aggressive to my own lad.

I learnt to ride at Saddington!! Manor Farm, not for the faint hearted lolQUOTE]

Haha, I'm another one that learnt to ride there, certainly not for the faint hearted!

My Mum whisked me away after a pretty nasty tumble while away on an own a pony week type thing there!!

They certainly taught me how to bounce though, haha!

Thankfully as I was only around 6-7yrs old, I had no fear and bounced very well!! I have very clear memorys now and should probably have been very afraid!

I swear I used to come off every other week (coinciding with the week we'd hack!) mainly due to the staff not checking my tack, mid canter I'd end up under the ponies belly!!

I remember getting bucked off a flighty bay thing, think he was called Speedy? The saddle went right up his neck in gallop, he clearly didn't want to stop until the others stopped, we stopped and he promptly bucked me off while I was attempting to jump off!!

I used to ride a big cremello called Sam quite often, he was faaar to big for me and who also trampled me into the ground!

it wasn't all doom and gloom though, I do remember having hours of fun playing in and amoing the round bales in the hay barn! the gaps were just big enough to fall down and hide in!!

Oh and I must add, this was about 18 years ago, I have no idea what it's like up there now, please nobody take my accounts as a reflection on them now!!
