Hello from across the pond!

Hello all!

I figured why not join another horse forum despite my decrease in actual riding currently!
I am from New York, and have been riding off and on for six years. I rode the most through college in which I competed in IHSA competitions. From then I have taken a year break and have been riding sparsely here and there due to finances and other things. That said, I've always felt compelled to dabble back into horses regardless of any breaks or barn/livery frustrations. I now take lessons only a few times a month with some trail riding thrown in occasionally.

I might lurk more than not due to the lack of horsey time I can get nowadays, but I am happy to have joined another active community! Nice to met all of you~

Howdy (that's US for hello isn't it??). As above, it's interesting hearing what's going on elsewhere and how others outside of UK do things)
