Hello! New member here from British Columbia, Canada. I have ridden for the last 18 years... Through school and university I had my own horses I competed with around the west coast of Canada and the US. I sold my last horse and moved to England for a year... And am back in Canada. I don't own a horse now as it has become SO expensive... But I am lucky to work with a trained who lets me ride and train the smaller ponies for her clients. It's great!
Anyways... I have a question for people here. I broke my tibial plateau nearly 5 weeks ago. It is a clean break... No surgery required... But because it is the main weight bearing area of the leg, I have strict orders to not weight bear at all until late May/early June. I am going crazy... I can't drive, can't ride, can't even clean the house (never thought I'd miss that...).
Has as anyone had this injury before? How long before you were back in the saddle? I am visiting family in Scotland at the end of June and I am absolutely determined to go riding... Even if I'm still learning how to walk again!
