It's currently actually spectacularly mild, was a bit blowy with the bad weather, but no worse than we had right on the coast in Porthleven and the warm days last week, Cumbria was 22 degrees while Cornwall was 20! I suspect the diifference will come in the Winter.

Twiggy, thank you, yes -however, there was a lot of stress and a lot of wine consumed and that was with everything going to plan for the actual move. Never again x

I love Ennerdale, we were up there earlier this week, my mother has fond memories of there, she wanted to share them with me... my father took part in the mountain marathon there just over 40 years ago and my mum set up triage in the scout hut... I loved it there, I am looking out for a kayak and my first run willl be from Ennerdale water to the bridge in thornhill. xx

Aww mate, thank you! Truth be told if I would have had it my way we would have been moved a couple of months before. But it is perfect, I am humbled by the beast, how incredible he is, how well he has traveled and adjusted. I am so grateful that I am settled in time for SS!! Bring it on!! xx
