I saw a long thread that started off as a welcome to the possible influx of new members defelcting from New Rider, and even managed to search for iot and post on it, but it seems to have disapeared, so I thought I would do an introduction, rather than just 'turning up'.

I am not at all a fluffy bunny, prefering to chase my small fluffy beasts round the countryside! I have a 16.3hh 9yo Clydesdale x TB gelding called Oscar, who I compete at riding club level SJ, XC, dressage, and hunt, hack and trail ride. My daughter also has a mini shetland on loan, who she does lead rein showing with.

I found HHO very useful when Oscar was diagnosed with bone spavin earlier in the year, putting my plans to foray into the world of BE on hold. I hope everyone will be equally helpful now I have stopped lurking and come out of the woodwork!

Welcome to HHO!

Im not a hater so ill welcome u with open arms!

Thanks for the welcome. here are a couple of pictures from last year. Will need to try and dig out some more.

Out hunting - opening meet, so not clipped yet - rather sweaty!

On holiday in the borders last year.

I am a fluffy idiot with a heart of stone and a head full of cooked cabbage (and I have the pictures to prove it)

.

Welcome to the mad house. Full of the warmest and kindest people you would wish to find.

I have a 16.2hh Dutch Warmblood five year old mare. Called 'The Dizzy Blonde' 'cos she's chestnut with a long blonde mane and tail and she spins and makes me dizzy. Currently dizzier than usual due to her going left 'n' me going right on Sunday - my head found the ground surprisingly hard, and to make it worse I have no idea if the paramedics were cute or not (kept eyes tight shut, opening them was baaaaad). Also have Little Cob who is cute, and Little Lad who is a cute g!t.

I'm not very with it and declare anything contentious to be a figment of my cabbage.

hello lucyad **waves** looks like im not the only one who has reverted to this forum, god knows whats happening on NR. never mind! looking forward to a new forum anyway

Thanks, folks!

Nessie, it isn't my path - I am in Renfrewshire, but took my favourite member of my family (Oscar) on holiday last year, when the pic was taken. It is in the Scottish Borders - great riding countryside.
