Hello!!

I am new to this forum so thought i would say hello and introduce myself :)

I am in my very late 20's and have been 'into' horses since i was 5 years old.

I currently do not have a horse as i am saving up to get married next year. I have decided to hunt for someone who might like a helping hand though as i miss them so much!

I have a passion for the large round hairy types in particular cobs, shires, Comtois and Ardenne :) One day i hope that i will own one :D

My husband to be is from Australia and loves horses too which is great. Hopefully in the future i can teach him to ride english style!

I have always enjoyed being around horses more than riding and am very eager to learn more about natural horsemanship methods. I do love going to local shows though and hope that one day i will get to wear a posh tweed jacket :)

Well thats about it, would love to hear all about you and your gorgeous horses!

Hi cobmum **waves**
Sorry, but you'd hate my horses - two TB ex-racers!! But the old boy is so fat he's starting to look like more of an IDX if that helps!

Hasn't it been a lovely day here?

Welcome to HHO forum. :)

Have you been on Cheshire Horse website? There are sometimes horses on there for part loans and people just wanting help.

ooh thanks i will check it out and pehaps put an advert up :). I was considering having weekly lessons instead but i dont know of any really decent riding schools, Holly Tree in Knustford has been mentioned to me by a tack shop but thats about it.

I'm near to Congleton- not too far away! Sorry I can't be much help with the riding school. I tried a few when I was between horses but wouldn't recommend any of them really :( x

Another cheshirer here! Live in runcorn, horses in daresbury & i work in alderley edge :-)
Im also rubbish at knowing any good riding schools - only know the poo ones :O Although i remember being told the Cheshire Riding School was good.

I'm Congleton!

Have you tried Horses for Courses, Brown Edge over Biddulph way.

A bit too far for the OP but only 15/20mins from Congleton.

Another Cheshireite here :D

Butterlands at Biddulph Moor has amazing horses but is quite pricey ..... Bank farm is at the other end of the spectrum but is good fun and friendly :D

xx

Hi! Thank you for the recommendation, but now have my own horse, so go to Michelle at Equinefix near to Pecks (she's brilliant!)

Great to meet someone so local- I'm in Smallwood x
