Hi everyone,
I've joined because I've found this forum popping up regularly in my horsical questions to google. I have found some of the shared learning very helpful, and it seems to be a pretty respectful place.
I currently have 7 horses, with a core of 6 that will likely be with me for ever, three of which I've had since birth or before 1yo. My passion is training and being trained by horses, and I expecially enjoy the young ones. (which is not to say that I haven't learned and continue to, an amazing amount form some of my older horses)
I sometimes compete (term used loosely) at team penning, have had an occasional foray into campdrafting, I live 1km from the bush so trailriding is a regular pastime. I am considering joining an adult riding club to learn more about how to ride more correctly (English(?) style)
I have bred one foal who is now four and going quite nicely under saddle, and one of my herd is a just-pregnant mare.
I look forward to learning from you all.
Khat.
