Hello... Finally BT have managed to change our phone line
cant really remember where I was when I last posted
think I had just come back from Poland - which seams a life time away!! We have moved yards and house and we are now settled in happily - very happy horses
!! Jayson went to Blenheim feeling full of self importance, this continued in to the dressage where we both decided to change the test and totally bugger it up - less said the better
he was a total dude X.C jumped a super clear taking every straight route, I felt him blow up a bit up the hill to ward the main arena and thought it was possibly because it was so near to Poland so took him really steady as I only wanted him to jump round after his interesting dressage, jumped home happily but very slowly, finished and he was not really blowing and vets were happy with him... noticed a little nick on his knee which didnt seam to be bothering him but I did wonder as I though that was maybe why he ' blew up' since her wasnt tiered. So after all the normal routine of legs and walking off I poulticed it and thought Ide check him in an hour - when his adrenalin had stopped. Went back and he was acting like he had lost his leg, so got the vet to check it and she gave him all the drugs he wanted, althought she did ask if I wanted to showjump as she couldnt give him bute if I did - he could bend his leg
any way I WD showjumping, but stayed the night there and parted
. Took him home and had my vet check him, x rayed him as he was still feeling very sorry for him self.... he had some how managed to tear a little bit of ligament in his knee
but is now storming and looking like he can go on holiday next week after his bit of box rest.
Gatcombe was a brill weekend, Moo is back on form and flying again, she was a total
in the dressage, attempted to jump off the showjumping and threatened to bury me if I steaded her so has two down!! then flew round the x.c like it was a PN - after causing a bit of excitement in the start box - I couldnt see mum, who has to lead me
as Moo was standing up so high !!
Cibelle did a 36.5 dressage which I am
with as its still quite hard work getting her around the arena, and she thinks im insane for asking her to canter on the wrong leg so must change to help me out in my madness
then she jumped a foot perfect double clear
so she got her first point in her first Novice - what a babe, and she is so classy
!! I stay with friends when we come to Gatcombe and always have a ace time, but some how on the sat night ended up in Swindon in a foam party
which ended the week end brilliantly
!!
