Just wanted to say hello as im new here. Im mum to 2 children and have a new horse who i am totally besotted with. She is a 7 yr old gorgeous black mare. My children love her to pieces and i cant leave her alone. once im at the yard i dont want to leave!! I think she has received well over 75 per cent of my attention over the last few weeks, much to the husbands discust

Hello and welcome!!! I'm mum to 3 (and to my boy Harry). My tip would be to get your husband interested too then you can cleverly devote time to both at once - and maybe having somone to do a spot of mucking out too :-)

Your mare sounds lovely. Your husband is lucky she only gets 75% of your attention! I have a black gelding - definately the best colour! What do you plan to do with her?
 
hi welcome i am a mum to two boys and 2 horses both mares one thats in foal due in may one dark bay and a black friesian
 
Hi, I'm new too!! I have had my Haflinger gelding for 18 months now and love him!!! Have done some sponsored rides on him and plan to do lots more this season.
Are there any other Haflinger owners out there??
Will post a picture of him on when I work out how to do it!!

hi, I am a mum too. My kids are older, 18 and 14. My pony is my me time and chill out time from the family. my hubby has his football and pub time.
Your horse looks lovely is it a friesian type?

Hi, I am based in Kent. I did 3 sponsored rides last year and thoroughly enjoyed them all. I ride with my friend who also owns a Haflinger and we always take it easy on the rides - lots of talking and a few canter/gallops along the way. The scenery is always wonderful and a great day out for us and the horses.
