Hello all,
I couldnt seem to find a newbie section so thought id post it in here before I start replying to posts and everyone thinking "who the hell are you??" lol!

I have been lurking for a while so thought its time I join up :D

Im natalie, 28, from westerham Kent, I know a few of you on here from another board I think!

I have a 15hh irish cob called Smurf, an 16hh ID x TB called Finn and my daughter part loans a lil RDA dude called Tom.

I also have a Dogue de bordeaux, 3 chinese cresteds, aforementioned 7yr old daughter and am 12 days away from giving birth to my second daughter..... that all sounds pretty scary when I see it written down!

I am firmly in the Cobs Rule camp, so lets get that out the way lol, as I see quite a lot of division on here, most of it makes me laugh especially the tongue in cheek stuff!
I recently bought back my trusty steed Smurf, after almost 2 yrs of confidence knocks from Finn who regular decides to spook and spin if a leaf looks at him the wrong way, so hes currently on loan with a vtb to a much more suitable lady whilst I concentrate on having babies imminently and then getting my confidence back up on smurf!

I have no ambitions to set the eventing scene on fire, Im just a happy hacker who likes to do hunter trials/xc/etc, just low level stuff.

anyway, I think thats enough rambling now!

Natalie

Hi there - crikey - good luck with the new baby - as you know, they are just like hand luggage when they are tiny - it's when they start moving about that the fun starts...

lol yes quite!!
Im perfectly confident with the mixture of horses on DIY with a constantly sleeping newborn....but with a toddler?? yeah could be interesting and/or soul destroying :D

Hello

Well you know me already!!

Fingers crossed for Finn, you gave it your best but it's not worth getting injured over and if he can have a home that suits him as well its perfect all round.

Hi Julia!!:D

yes trusty cobs are definately the future lol, the spooking and spinning shreds my nerves to pieces! its a shame as hes such a love on the ground but hyperventilating at the thought of getting on him is probably a sign that he's a bit too much for me.....

sturdy cobs rule :D

x

Welcome to HHO :D (frantically waves!)

I really should have got myself a trusty cob, bucking thoroughbreds are a bum!:p ( sat typing with lots of cuts and bruises and a sore neck after recent escapades! :( )

Waves hello!!

I have 6 years between my two boys and I love the age gap. I find that I really appreciate things the second time around. And I have 1 horse, 2 ponies, 2 dogs, 3 cats, a few fish, oh and a husband that has to fit in with everything else!

Now you've joined HHO, you definitely won't have any spare time. :)
