Hi!! I was wondering if anyone could help me?? I know it's a little cheeky but I could really do with some advice and you all seem like a friendly, knowledgable bunch!
I am in the process of buying a pure-bred Arab. I have done everything you should do on a trial (except vetting - I only went to see him yesterday) and he was fantastic. I just have one small question I wonder if anyone can help with? I am not wanting to do anything but hack out on him. When I got him into a canter, his head went right under straight away, and stayed there. I was wondering if it is just because that's what he does or if it could be an underlying problem. I am not well schooled myself and was wondering if it was because I wasn't well balanced? The lady who I am buying him off says that it is just the way he is and I will get used to it. If that is the case it is fine by me because I found it quite comfy.
Please help
