Hello everyone 
I've just joined here tonight - well actually that's a lie, because I joined in 2009 but didn't post anything!! - so just wanted to come and say 'hi' to everyone.
My name is Samantha and I live in Northern Ireland
. I own a 14.3hh Cob cross called Sweeney who is 7 years old. I've owned him for just coming up on a year now (how time flies!!).
I bought him to bring back my confidence and he's done that and more! I had a bad experience with a horse - who I had to later sell on - and my confidence was down at zero. This time last year I could barely trot. Now i'm galloping round the fields, doing small cross country jumps, hacking, cantering and having a ball!! I still have days where I get an attack of the nerves, so on those days we will take it easy and just do some light work. There's always another day!
