Hello I am new on here and just about to get my 1st pony
I have had riding lesson and helped my friends with their
ponies. My Mum and Dad have had horses and I did have a
pony when I was about 4 years old, but I was very young.

My Mum and Dad are trying to find a DIY yard in the Cannock
Staffordshire, area, can anyone help us?

My pony is a chesnut gelding at 13 hands, I would like a yard
that has other young people.

Hi welcome to the forum:) You must be so excited about getting your pony, hopefully you can post some photos of him or her on here for us:)

Can't help with livery as I am not local to you, but hopefully somebody will be along who is. Failing that, you could always ask in local tack shops or feed merchants for any local yards that they would recommend.

Does your local area have an equine Facebook page? You could post a request on there for some advice.

Welcome, what an exciting time for you :) hope you don't mind me asking, how old are you? That might give some people in the area a better idea of where to point you to,,

Hello, i used to ride in cannock as a teenager (many years ago!) i live near walsall. Not sure about yards though. You coud put an advert in robinsons. My first pony was a 13.2 chestnut. My daughters friends mom has a livery yard thats in Stonnall, might be too far.
 
Thank you everyone for your messages, we have just
got back from looking at some stables and I think my
Mum and Dad are looking at one that is on the Chase
so I can ride out when I have settle him down and gained
confidence, it has an indoor school and outside school.
I am 12 years old and there are other girls there my age
so it will be nice.

I will put some pictures here when my Dad puts them
on my computer.
