hi everyone, love looking at these posts when i am slacking at work so thought i would register and join in the gossip!!
also anyone on here done the milton keynes 3 day event? i am hoping to do september one if i can rustle up the pennies!!!
 
Hi, welcome, I have been on here a while too, reading lots and only started replying a little while back. Not done the Milton Keynes 3 day event, but just wanted to say hiya! :D
 
good idea ! A lot of this forum is tongue-in -cheek, some of it not, but the members here are a really nice bunch. Hope you enjoy it, look forward to debating with you :D
 
welcome!! milston keynes is amazing!!! i was going to do the 2ft3 this year but have a lame horse so will just be going to camp while YO jumps round the open! camp, eat bbq food and get drunk!!
 
hi, well i am sure that will be fun, i am def wanting to do it, been on the website alot, wanna do class 1 2ft6" to 2ft9", what is the cross country like? all about fitness now!! not for horse for the rider!! lol i am very unfit!! horse could go forever!! lol.
 
the course is very meaty! the steeple chase and roads and tracks are probably the most testing, the steeplchase is timed. il see if i can find a photo from milton keynes and il post it.
 
ok that would be great if you could!! i have only ever done 1 days so if you could give me some info bout the roads and tracks and what it involves that would be great. dont mind if its testing. just want bit more of a heads up be4 i spend the pennies. lol. is the xc in your opinion large at 2ft6 2ft9? but yes pics would be appreciated!!

My very good friend has. she did novice.
well run..fences v small tbh not up to height at all especially in sj :(
also expensive i would love to do it but i just dont have the cash to spare at mo!!

hello, thanks for that! i have seen a few pics from the may one and agree the sj looks not up to height and so did the xc but wasnt sure if it was just camera angle or just the particular fences pictured were just some of the smaller ones. :confused: it is alot of money so i best curb my spending so i have enough. lol. just wanted to get an idea bout it all really so i do the right class. but i think for first one 2ft6 2ft9 class would be good to do.
 
i never seen the 2ft6 2ft9 all though my nervous friend has done it so it cant be that bad. i have only seen the 3ft upwards and they are mahoosive!! well anything over 2ft6 is massive to me!
 
yeah i can imagine, i am fine sj at 3ft plus but not done alot of xc that size so would rather do class 1 on our first 3 day just to get a feel for it and progress from there. but thanks for the comments bout it i am def keen on entering.
