I don't think that is Hallo Oscar either, but he was a stunner. He was still alive four or five years ago then aged 22.

Hallo Oscar was by 'Dallas' a Selle Francais imported from France and jumped briefly by Derek Ricketts out of the mare 'Nice and Easy' who was a top class International jumper in her own right. There was a full brother 'Hallo Feliz' who was also a very successful SJ.

These two horses propelled Dallas to the top of some of the very first performance stallion rankings in UK but you would have to say the dam was very influential.

Congratulations to Mrs Lock who bred this dynasty.

sounds like he was alive 2008 ,there is another Oscar descendant maybe that's his video even so lovely horse

Dallas was kept just up the road from me at Church Farm Stud (John & Sue Rawdings) an old friend of mine used to work there and look after him.

Its nice when you can trace family tree I can go back to clover hill lines on dams side too.Found it all very interesting.Just hope I can ride him now in process of backing
