Hello everyone,

I'm a 25 years old French woman and I've living in Newcastle for almost 5 years now.
I've always loved horses and I learned to ride at a very young age as my grandad used to train horses for spectacles and cinema. I had to stop riding for almost 10 years due to my studies but I will soon be back in the saddle : D-19 ! I found a nice school around my home, I can't wait.

I am going to take lessons and try to find an Icelandic riding school (if there is such thing in Great Britain), because my goal is to import an Icelandic Horse for my 30th birthday.

Let me know if you have any advices for me or if you want to chat!

Hi! I read somewhere that Icelandic horses can't be exported from Iceland, but there are at studs in the UK you can buy from. Let us know if you achieve your dream

It’s a bit far out, but I’ve heard of a trekking centre/RS with icys in Shetland?

I noted the centre in Shetlands, for a holidays ! Otherwise I'll go in holidays in Iceland !
@ycbm : Icelandic horses can totally be exported but no horse can be imported to Iceland since year 960.
