Help, a how much...

Just looking for some advice from the experts really as I really have no idea as there seems to be so much variation on prices depending on where you look.
I have decided to sell Bailey as I dont have the time or ability to do him justice- he really is a super horse with such a lot to give and Im gutted having to sell him

He is 17hh, 5 years old by Master Imp (out of a King of Diamonds mare I think!). Odd colour somewhere between grey/ bay we think he will go grey eventually!!!
Hasnt done a huge amount but been slowly and carefully produced and given time to mature. Jumped a d/c BN on a ticket, didnt look twice at anything- done 3 prelims scoring 64%+ and only novice came 4th with 72% (wrapped in tinsel too

). No vices and a real gem to handle. Could show. He has real WOW factor, and will go a long way with the right rider.

Would say with prices at the mo, could easily get between 5.5-6.5k

I was gonna say about £5,500-£6,000 but i am noty very good at pricing horses as i am tight LOL

Not sure, but his breeding is pretty good for eventing.. got any pics???

He sounds lovely, but one of those that will be very difficult to price without actually seeing and trying him (

). Because of his age he will be mainly a 'potential' horse and if he is really good, then the price could be very high

Problem is there are so many horses that are good, and very few that are exceptional

Where would you see his future lying...SJ'ing, Dressage or Eventing ?

Rambo, I think his future really lies in Eventing- he has the right attitude and bags of scope and everyone I have to spoken to has agreed except my jump instructor who thinks he wants to be a showjumper

I dont have any nice photos of him on this PC (work) but will post what I can find.

This is him just over a year ago, but doesn't really do him much justice- he looks a bit odd- he isn't!!

OOO, he looks nice. Well I am no expert but I would say that around the 6-7k mark would be acceptable for me if I were to buy him! (Not that I would unless he likes dressage!

He moves beautifully but I cant see him being a dressage horse really- he a jumping machine and loves it!!

Agree...he looks very nice....and from the photo I would say around £5.5k to £6.5k. Could be more though as a still image doesn't give any real impression of his paces, or his ability

if he's anything to go by his brother (imperial master) then i bet hes a pretty talented horse!

pricing wise im pretty cr*p but id say £6-7?
