Hello everyone,
A friend of mine is teaching English to a German girl who loves horses and is going on a riding holiday in Ireland next year. She's asked if she can learn some useful vocabulary, and I promised my friend I'd help.
Could you recommend either a good, basic horse book for kids which has diagrams of points of the saddle and the horse and so on, or an on-line source with the same?
I have a few 1920s/1930s riding manuals for children which are out of date for obvious reasons, and the Katie Price Perfect Ponies book, which is a bit short on that kind of thing (there's more about dressing your pony up as a fairy).
Anyone got any ideas? I'd be very grateful for suggestions.
