I bought a grooming tool at the Great Yorkshire show for £15, I was a bit dubious as it was a lot for a dog brush but the woman said no worry about sending it back for a full refund including postage if the dogs didn't like it.
Well they didn't, it had a sort of harsh comb thing and it bumped along their spines so they both ran away when I got it out!
Sent it back, recorded with a note to explain and heard nothing for 3 weeks so emailed. Got a very unpleasant sarcastic reply saying they hadn't recieved it but would check and that I was the first person to return one in however many thousand they had sold.
Another week went by, still nothing so I emailed again. I have checked the parcel was signed for a month ago so what do I do now?
I know I can contact the PO re the signature but how can I actually make them refund me? I am now out of pocket by £18 and no tool either!

I would get the name from the post office of who signed for it and then ring them up and ask to speak to that person. Ask them were your refund is, i hate it when people mess folks around like that, it might not be alot of money to them but it's not the point, they said you could have a refund.

Did you use a credit card to pay for it? If so, take it up with the credit card co. Keep copies of all communications and written notes of all phone calls. Try trading standards officer - and threaten the woman with trading standards.

Thank you both, I am trying to get a name for the signature but RM are useless on customer service. Chances are it was one of those hand held boxes and signature will be illegible.
I did pay by credit card so i will contact my company if I have to next. Grrrrr. Why do they do this!

Contact your Credit Card company. Tell them you want to submit a claim for 'goods not received'. They will take care of everything from there.
You will get your money back.

There isn't an electronic signature because it is in Scotland (apparently). I have just had a very nasty email from the woman, apparently she only "found" it on Thursday and sent a refund on Friday. I bet I don't get my postage back either.
Avoid groomit dog tools!!
I'm surprised she sells anything with her attitude, it stinks!

It was on the RM website that some of the outlying offices don't put the electronic signature online. They did say it will be stored in case of dispute though.
According to the very nice lady she sent my refund on Friday, we'll see.
Don't think I'll ever buy at a show like that again unless I am certain I want the item!!
